Summer Bishil

Summer Bishil (born June 15 in 1985) is an American actress, best known for playing Margo in 'The Magicians, which is a Syfy television series of fantasy and drama that ran through 2015 until today. The actress was previously recognized in the role of 13-year-old Lebanese American girl Jasira Maroun, who undergoes an emotional journey in the background of the U.S. war in Iraq during the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film "Towelhead'. In 2007, she was selected from Variety as one of "10 most watched actors". In 2009, she played Taslima an imposing female lead in the film crime drama Crossing Over, which earned her a nomination for an 'Independent Spirit Award,' under the category of "Best Female Leading".
