Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise is a popular American author, performer and actress who is famous for her character Ginger Grant in the 1960s the television show Gilligan's Island. Her stage work began in the 1950s with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Then she appeared in a numerous Broadway productions, before becoming the most famous on stage alongside Li'l Abner in. The following year, she recorded her first album, It's the right time to Tina. Louise started her Hollywood career in 1958 as she played Griselda Walden in God's little Acre, a dramatic film. The film was a massive success and Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. During this time she enrolled into Actors Studio in New York and formed a connection to Lee Strasberg as his student. The actress joined CBS in 1964, to portray Ginger Grant. Louise did not stop juggling her career in between Broadway television and Hollywood playing more serious role as opposed the image of glamorous. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series, as well as Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. She has also been a renowned director of popular television shows such as Supernatural and The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on August 28, 1965 and her family moved to Toronto when she was three in the following years, where she lived the majority of her childhood and teenage years. In 1997, after being picked to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has lived in the city ever since.
